Born in India as the ninth and youngest child, Dr. Mohammed has had to persevere through very difficult circumstances to get to the position he is at now. With his father passing away from a heart attack, he has known he wanted to help cure heart disease from a young age. After graduating with his medical degree from Osmania Medical College, he went to England to further excel in his career. There, he earned an esteemed degree and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians.
Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Case Western University, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Henry Ford Hospital, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at St. John Hospital.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, adult comprehensive echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
An accomplished academic, Dr. Mohammed has given oral presentations at international conferences including American College of Cardiology, he has published articles in peer reviewed journals and has achieved several laureates during his medical school, residency and fellowship.
