Get to know Neurosurgeon Dr. Szymon Rosenblatt, who serves patients throughout the State of Illinois.

Dr. Rosenblatt is a board-certified neurosurgeon serving as the Medical Director of Neurological Surgery for the AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Neurosciences Institute, and as the Regional Medical Director of Neurological Surgery for AMITA Health.

His hospital affiliations include AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center Elk Grove Village, AMITA Health St. Alexius Medical Center Hoffman Estates, AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center Hinsdale, and AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center La Grange.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in Germany in 1980. He then relocated to the United States, performing his residencies at Boston University Medical Center and McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. He also completed his fellowships at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and New York University Medical Center.

With years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Rosenblatt is board-certified through the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS). The broad aim of the ABNS is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serve the cause of public health.

Engaging in professional organizations, he is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
