Dr. Albert Chen is a pathologist practicing in the greater Houston, TX area since 2004. Dr. Chen is a doctor who specializes in the study of autopsy pathology and is a partner with Autopsy & Pathology Services. The practice is the largest private autopsy group in the greater Houston area and performs more than 400 cases per year. We work with most of the greater Houston area hospitals, and we are available to the general public. For unexplained or wrongful death, we can provide families with necessary closure regarding cause of death and other major pathology, which may have genetic consequences for other family members. Dr. Chen also serves as laboratory director for several urgent care centers and medical director for a tissue transplant service. Dr. Chen is actively involved with research at the Texas Heart Institute regarding artificial heart studies.
