Can a fever make your eyes burn?
Burning eyes can have several possible causes, ranging from the simple to the complex, and the burning sensation can occur with or without other symptoms such as itching, eye pain, watery eyes or discharge. Frequently, burning eyes are caused by unavoidable environmental influences, such as strong winds, smog, smoke, dust, mold, pollen, pet dander or high pollen counts. However, similar sensations can be symptoms of a more serious eye problem that requires medical attention. To select appropriate treatment, it's important to first establish the cause (or causes) of your burning eyes. JS READ MORE
Is it dangerous if a child see's floaters?
Floaters can be normal, but if they are multiple at a time like a stage curtain coming down, or a flash of light, persistent like a beacon on a lighthouse, then they need to be seen. As most young children may not be able to describe it in great detail, I would suggest they be seen just to rule out any issues as soon as possible. These symptoms can lead to retinal tears and retinal detachments which can cause serious issues. Thank you for reaching out to us and best wishes! JS READ MORE
What is the most advanced laser eye surgery?

My dad has a swollen bag under his eye and looks bit inflamed?
This may very well be prolapsed fat, which comes with age. I would suggest cold compresses. If it causes problems with vision or becomes painful, I would suggest seeing an ophthalmologist. If not vision problems, you may want to consult your family doctor. Thank you for reaching out to us, and best wishes! JS READ MORE
Are contact lenses safe for eyes?
Contact lenses are usually a safe and effective form of vision correction. However, they are not entirely risk-free, especially if they are not cared for properly. Contact lenses are medical devices, and failure to wear, clean, and store them as directed can increase the risk of eye infections. Thank you for reaching out to us. Best wishes! JS READ MORE
How do I get my contacts out without touching my eyes?
Place the tip of either your middle finger or your thumb, whichever is most comfortable, on the center of your lower eyelid. Gently pull the eyelids back, away from the eye, and push in. This will pull your upper and lower eyelids back a little bit, exposing your waterline on each eyelid. Thank you for reaching out to us! JS READ MORE
