He then completed his residency in radiation oncology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, and his fellowship in neuro-oncology at the Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine and Wills Eye Hospital, both in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a stint on the faculty.
The doctor is board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The mission of the ABR is to serve patients, the public, and the medical profession by certifying that its diplomates have acquired, demonstrated, and maintained a requisite standard of knowledge, skill, and understanding essential to the safe and competent practice of diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
