Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Sara Faught, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas, primarily in the Fort Worth area.

A devoted emergency physician, Dr. Faught, is a highly accomplished medical professional who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of emergency medicine. As the owner of her own medical practice, she has a remarkable 13 years of experience in the medical field, and has spent nine years of her career as an emergency medicine physician. Her dedication and commitment to her patients are exemplified by her service as an active-duty United States Navy Emergency Physician until October 2018, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

In addition, throughout her military career, she was assigned to various units and received specialized training in disaster and chemical/biological attack medicine, underscoring her preparedness to handle complex medical situations. She served as the Senior Medical Officer of a forward trauma surgical unit during her deployment to Iraq, demonstrating her leadership and expertise in high-stress environments. She also collaborated with different U.S. military forces and international military units, providing cohesive and comprehensive emergency medicine services to those in need.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Faught is a graduate of Western Washington University and pursued her medical degree at The Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, situated on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Following her education, she undertook a rigorous emergency medicine residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, where she honed her skills and knowledge in this critical field.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards. This certification proves she has the highest level of skills to take care of patients of all ages, specifically to care for urgent and emergent life threatening illnesses as well as minor complaints of all types. 

Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Faught is a proud member of the American Board of Emergency Physicians, and a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, the National Medical School Honor Society, which recognizes her outstanding achievements and contributions to the medical field. 

Moreover, she served as an Emergency Physician on the Medical City Weatherford Chest Pain Committee, and a service member involved in Polypharmacy & High-Risk Medication Review for the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Her exemplary service record extends to her role as a CBIRF (Chemical, Biological Incident Response Force) Medical Officer, where she was a vital member of the Ebola Operational Planning Team at The Pentagon. 

Dr Faught still works in an Emergency Department but her passion is her concierge practice, First Call Medical Concierge. She saw a need for patients to have access to experienced physicians at the time they need and in the comfort of their home via tele-health or in-home visits. With the concierge model Dr Faught has the freedom to spend as much time as needed with patients to make sure all questions and concerns are taken care of without the limitations that exist in an ER or insurance based clinic setting. The services offered are cheaper than an ER or urgent care visit without waiting for an appointment or the long waits in a waiting room.
