Dr. Sara Faught is a graduate of Western Washington University. She obtained her medical degree at The Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg Virginia. Her emergency medicine residency was at the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
Dr. Faught has 13 years experience in medicine, 9 of which are as an emergency medicine physician. She was an active duty United States Navy Emergency Physician until October of 2018 when she separated as a Lieutenant Commander. During her time in the Navy she was assigned to multiple units and obtained specialized training in disaster and chemical/biological attack medicine, was the Senior Medical Officer of a forward trauma surgical unit while deployed in Iraq, and worked with multiple different US military forces and international military forces to provide cohesive and comprehensive emergency medicine.
Dr. Faught is a member of the American Board of Emergency Physicians. She moved to Texas in 2020 and now calls Aledo her forever home along with her husband and two children. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and building relationships in her community.
