Raised in the Middle East and Europe, Dr. Delistathis moved to the Washington, DC area in 1988 and graduated high school from Lycee Rochambeau. She received a B.A. with honors in molecular biology from Princeton University and subsequently pursued a masters in public health and health policy from Columbia University. After completing medical school at the University of Maryland, she finished her residency at the George Washington University Hospital.
Dr. Delistathis has been practicing medicine for the past 17 years. She previously served as an inpatient hospitalist with Sibley and Suburban Hospitals. In addition, Dr. Delistathis practiced internal medicine at Capital Integrative Health, where she worked collaboratively with several other health practitioners (psychologists, functional nutritionists, health coaches and acupuncturists) and enriched her primary care tool box.
Her primary goal is to work in partnership with her patients and help them navigate the complexity of the medical world in order to support their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
