Get to know Family Physician Dr. Enrique Jose Urrutia Jr., who serves patients in Largo, Florida.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Urrutia Jr. is a trusted family physician in practice with Suncoast Family Medical Associates in Largo, Florida. He has special interest in the medical areas of preventative medicine, hospital/inpatient medicine, in-office procedures, sports medicine, and osteopathic manipulation.

Coming from a family of physicians, Dr. Urrutia Jr. earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. He went on to complete his residency in family medicine and his internship in osteopathic medicine at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Utilizing his knowledge to improve the wellness of patients of all age groups, he is board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

To advance his professional efforts, Dr. Urrutia Jr. remains an active member of the Tampa Bay Latin American Medical Society, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, the Florida Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society. He is also on staff at Largo Medical Center.
