Dr. Osmanzai is a fellowship-trained infectious disease specialist who specializes in HIV / AIDS; hepatitis A, B & C, long-term antibiotic therapy, osteomyelitis and chronic infections, immunodeficiency disorders, and travel medicine. He is the President of Coastal Carolina Infectious Disease in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Prior to his current endeavours, Dr. Osmanzai served as a hospitalist at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts (April 2012 – June 2013), where he provided care to hospitalized patients and took part in the residency training program. He also served as the Medical Director of the Hospital Medicine Program at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, New York (April 2009 – June 2011), where he led six physicians that provided care for hospitalized patients.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2001. He then went on to serve his residency in internal medicine at Albany Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in infectious disease at Louisiana State University. 

Devoted to his profession, Dr. Meraj is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
