Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Stacie L. Lauro, who serves patients in Tampa, Florida.

In practice for over 25 years, Dr. Lauro is a trusted psychiatrist serving as the CEO & Owner of Dr. Stacie’s, LLC in Tampa, Florida.

Prior to her current endeavors, she served as an attending psychiatrist at Physicians Group of HCA Hospitals, West Division from March of 2017 until October of 2018.

At the start of her academic career, Dr. Lauro graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Emory University in 1993. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 1997. Upon graduation, she performed her internship in internal medicine at Emory University, her residency in psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and her fellowship at the Tampa Bay Institute of Psychoanalytic Studies.

Before long, she became board-certified in psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Licensed to practice medicine in Florida, Dr. Lauro is affiliated with Brandon Regional Hospital and Windmoor Healthcare of Clearwater.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders.
