Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas, a 495-bed acute care facility and medical center, has been providing high-quality medical care to the residents of Northwest Texas since 1924. As a designated tertiary care academic institution, the hospital provides patients with advanced technological innovations for diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of clinical conditions. They are well known nationally for our heart, emergency, stroke and children’s care. They are fully accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services Regulatory Licensing Unit; they are also a Joint-Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center.

Dr. Sessions graduated with his Medical Degree from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1994. After obtaining his Medical Degree he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency with the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Sessions is currently Board Eligible for certification with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery exists to serve the best interest of the public and the medical profession by establishing educational standards for orthopedic residents and by evaluating the initial and continuing qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
