Get to know Internist Dr. David Ramin, who serves patients in California.

Dr. Ramin is a board-certified internist and primary care physician. For more than 20 years, he has led a team of compassionate medical professionals at his private practice, David Ramin, M.D., in Beverly Hills, California. 

Dedicated to delivering high-quality care for adults of all ages, Dr. Ramin and his team offer a full range of primary care services, including executive physical examinations and routine testing. They also provide chronic condition management for arthritis, diabetes, hypertension, and more, as well as see international patients and offer second opinions for complex medical cases. 

Proud to apply his knowledge and experience to provide exceptional care for every patient he sees, Dr. Ramin is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Motion Picture and Television Fund Hospital, and several other hospitals in the Los Angeles, California, area.  

In addition to his private practice, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

Academically, Dr. Ramin earned his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley Program before opening his private practice in Beverly Hills. 

Striving to stay up-to-date on the latest medical technologies and treatments, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Ramin has delivered several lectures on health topics, including pancreatitis and congestive heart failure. He has also earned several awards for his achievements, including the Patients’ Choice Award (2009) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2011, 2010).

On a more personal note, he speaks many languages, including English, Spanish, Farsi, and Armenian.
