In practice since August of 1993, Dr. Tummala is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist & a Managing Senior Partner at Park Avenue OB/GYN in Glendale, Arizona. She provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including gynourology, advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgeries, and in office procedures.

Growing up in New Delhi, Dr. Tummala earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College in India in 1984. She then went on to perform her transitional internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan in 1990. This was followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University Hospital in 1993, after which she joined Park Avenue OB/GYN.
A firm believer in sharing knowledge, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), Dr. Tummala is a member of the American Medical Association and the Maricopa Medical Society. She is also affiliated with Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.
