I had an appointment with Dr. Taral Shah, DPM and was seen on 10/25/19. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave me instructions on forms I needed to fill out and she informed me as to how long my wait would be (which wasn’t long at all). I was escorted back to the exam room by a medical assistant who was also pleasant. He took down some medical history as well as the reason for my visit. Dr. Shah was fantastic! She came into the examination room and treated me like a person. She was engaging and attentive (which I find to be rare). She listened to my problems and concerns, asked some pertinent questions and proceeded to give me an examination (right foot) She thoroughly explained to me what was going on with my foot. She broke it down in such a way that it was very easy to understand yet not the least bit condescending. After making a diagnosis, and sharing with me my options, Dr. Shah provided some in-office treatments, one of which was receiving two Cortisone injections. Being a Trypanophobe, this not something I ever look forward to, but Dr. Shah was understanding and took measures to minimize the unpleasantness. After getting molds made of both feet, she explained next steps (no pun intended) and gave me a timeline on following up. Dr. Shah is very personable and clearly passionate about what she does and cares for her patients. At no point did I ever feel like she was rushing or ready to just move onto the next patient, which helped my comfort level. It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend Dr. Shah. She is officially my Podiatrist! Thanks Doc! Peace, SKG
