Get to know Internist Dr. John Lin, who serves patients throughout California.

Dr. Lin is a well-versed internist who is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Washington, Michigan,  New Mexico, California, and Hawaii.

He is affiliated with SignifyHealth, Dickenson Community Health System,  Adventist Health Bakersfield, and UCLA. He was the Chairman and Director of Critical Care at Dickenson Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI from 2014 to 2018.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Lin graduated with his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine, New York 1999. He then went on to perform his internship in Surgery at Yale in 1999 then Residency in Surgery at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Furthering his training, he performed two additional residencies in internal medicine at the Charles R Drew University of Medicine and Science, College of Medicine in 2002 and 2004, respectively. 

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Lin is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

​Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
