Dr. Eugene Toy is an obstetrician-gynecologist practicing in EL PASO, TX. Dr. Toy specializes in women's health related cancers, particularly the female reproductive system. A board-certified gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Toy is affiliated with University Medical Center of El Paso. He conducts basic science research on the cancer-causing proteins of the human papillomavirus in addition to his clinical work with ovarian cancer.
University Medical Center of El Paso is the primary teaching institution for Texas Tech University’s four-year Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso. As such, it is the only academic healthcare setting in far West Texas and Southern New Mexico. Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in gynecologic oncology and obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
