A skilled hematologist-oncologist, Dr. Morganstein is the Director of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Panel at Medical Diagnostic Associates, PA, working with patients at their offices in Summit and Union, New Jersey. He also serves as the Assistant Medical Director of the Cancer Center at Overlook Medical Center.
Medical Diagnostic Associates, PA is a multi-specialty group of doctors located in North Jersey & Central New Jersey. Their founding physicians built a caring network of doctors that provides superior service, and compassionate and comprehensive medical care to all their patients.
Completing his undergraduate education at Rutgers College, Dr. Morganstein earned his medical degree from the Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of New Brunswick, where he served as Chief Resident. Finally, he completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology at the same educational venue.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

With his many speaking engagements and commitment to education, he has a reputation as a leader in the treatment of hematological and oncological issues. He is a national speaker in the area of multiple myeloma, as well as co-chair of a video conference on the management of patients with multiple myeloma.
With a special interest in lung cancer and multiple myeloma, Dr. Morganstein has published and presented several peer-reviewed articles, posters and abstracts at regional and national oncology meetings. These have focused on multiple myeloma, lymphoma, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, and hematological complications during pregnancy.
As an involved and committed oncologist, he gives several lectures a year educating medical students. He teaches the hematology board review course for the American College of Physicians, as well as the hematology and oncology course for residents at Rutgers University. In addition, he thoroughly enjoys working with medical students in the hospital.
