Get to know Pediatric Dentist, Steven Solis, DDS, who serves patients in Corpus Christi, Texas

Dr. Solis is a well-versed pediatric dentist who welcomes patients at Dentistry Just for Kids in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Solis started as a patient at the office in 1996. Throughout college, he worked at the office during his summers, which led to the development of a deep love for the office, its staff, and the patients. Upon the completion of his formal training as a pediatric dentist, he joined Dentistry Just for Kids to work alongside his mentor, Dr. Nolfi.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Dr. Solis graduated from the Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2011. He then graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, in 2015. Dr. Solis completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the New York University-Lutheran system, as well as a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Laredo Branch of the University of Texas Health-San Antonio.

Paediatric dentistry encompasses many aspects of general dentistry and specialist skills in the care of infants, children and adolescents. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Steven Solis takes care of a child’s teeth, gums and mouth. Children can face dental problems like tooth decay and gum disease without proper care. Pediatric dentists can provide dental examinations, give cleanings and treatments, repair cavities and dental injuries like fractured or knocked-out teeth, diagnose oral conditions and more.

Outside his professional commitments, Dr. Solis enjoys cycling, scoping out local eateries, traveling for continuing education courses, and anything in the realm of superheroes.
