Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Ahmad W. Aslami, who serves the population of Blue Springs, Missouri. Dr. Aslami graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his degree he completed his internship with the Wilson Medical Center – United Health System, followed by his Family Medicine residency with the Massapequa General Hospital. Dr. Aslami is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. To stay up to date his field he remains a professional member of the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians, and the Alliance of Community Health Plans. Dr. Aslam is bilingual and speaks both English and Farsi fluently. He currently practices with Odessa Medical Group and is affiliated with Lafayette Regional Health Center, Centerpoint Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, and VA Medical Center, where he holds an expertise in Family Medicine. Dr. Aslami attributes his professional success to his dedication to the medical field, patient care, research and education. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
