Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Earl Young, who serves patients in Georgia. 

Dr. Young is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatricians. He has been practicing with West Atlanta Pediatrics in Georgia since 2000. 

West Atlanta Pediatrics provides excellence in pediatric and adolescent medicine to the Lithia Springs and Dallas areas. The practice is committed to quality healthcare for children of all ages through regular preventive health screening, patient and parent education, and appropriate management of illnesses and concerns. The team of professionals working there pride themselves on their academic credentials, extensive pediatric experience, and their dedication to providing accessible healthcare to their patients. 

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Young completed his medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine, followed by his residency in pediatrics at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. Before long, he became board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Founded in 1933, the ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certification is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. As a pediatrician, Dr. Young examines, diagnoses, and treats children of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. He understands that children change rapidly and they must be approached with an appreciation for their stage of physical and mental development. 

In his personal life, the doctor enjoys sports of all kinds and at all levels, high school, college, and professional. He and his wife are the parents of four beautiful young women of whom they could not be more proud.
