In regards to his educational background, Dr. Quigley earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in 1971. He then went on to complete his residency at the same university. He also completed the prestigious Otto E. AuFranc Fellowship in Joint Replacement in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Following his education, the doctor became board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). To ensure safe, ethical, and effective practice of orthopaedic surgery, the ABOS maintains the highest standards for education, practice and conduct through examination, certification, and maintenance of certification for the benefit of the public.

A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Quigley serves on the Bylaws Committee and the Medical Executive Committee. He is also a proud member of the Hospital Foundation Board.
