Get to know Internist Dr. Tejaswini Kumar, who serves patients in Terre Haute, Indiana.

A board-certified internist, and Bariatician  Dr. Kumar is Co-founder of Terre Haute Internal Medicine Associates LLC, seeing patients at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Terre Haute Internal Medicine Associates LLC has welcomed patients since 2001. With two board-certified physicians, they provide quality medical services. From health maintenance, preventive medicine to medically supported weight loss, women healthcare and hormone replacement ,they are ready to serve patients’ healthcare needs.

Dr. Kumar graduated with her medical degree from Govt Medical College in 1993.She did her residency in Internal Medicine in New York at  St John’s Episcopal Hospital, Far Rockaway, NY. 

Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Dr Tejaswini Kumar is also Board Certified in Obesity Medicine. She is currently running a weight loss program Nu Me in Terre Haute, IN
