“Our care runs the gamut from comprehensive preventative care and routine restorative procedures to full mouth reconstruction. This allows us to care for the entire family no matter their needs. In addition to our comprehensive approach to family dentistry, our practice focuses on three specific areas of dentistry: dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and special needs dentistry” as stated on his website. 

In addition to operating his own practice, Dr. Kosinski is an Affiliated Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and serves on the editorial review board of Reality, the information source for esthetic dentistry. He is also the Associate Editor of the AGD journals and is honored to have been named Editor of IMPLANTS TODAY, the implant publication of DENTISTRY TODAY. 

Highly active in the dental community, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Michigan Academy of General Dentistry (past Editor & President), Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the Oakland County Dental Society. Pertaining to his academic background, Dr. Kosinski received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and his Mastership in Biochemistry from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He was the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry Alumni Association’s “Alumnus of the Year”. 

A Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, he received the Academy of General Dentistry’s Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) in 2009, 2014 and 2020  The LLSR acknowledges the continued achievements of AGD Mastership recipients who recognize the need for continuous learning and to stay active both in organized dentistry and their communities.

In light of his exceptional successes, Dr. Kosinski has received many honors, including Diplomate  status with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the ICOI, and Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International. In 2017, he received the Academy of Dentistry International’s Humanitarian Award “in recognition of significant contributions to the enhancement of the quality of life and the human condition.”  

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

An expert in his field, Dr. Kosinski published over 200 articles on the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry and was a contributor to the textbooks, Principles and Practices of Implant Dentistry, and 2010’s Dental Implantation and Technology. He was featured on Nobelbiocare’s Nobel Vision and lectures extensively.
