Dr. Osborn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington and Jefferson College with a degree in biology. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Thereafter, she completed her internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio and her residency in dermatology at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego. 

Dr. Osborn is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD certifies physicians in dermatology, dermatopathology, and pediatric dermatology. It is one of 24 medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, nails, hair and its diseases. It is a specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. As a dermatologist, Dr. Osborn specializes in treating conditions of the skin.
