A dedicated general surgeon, Dr. Graham is in practice at North Texas Surgical Specialists, working with patients at their offices in Ennis, Hillsboro, Lancaster, Mansfield, Corsicana, and Mexia, Texas. Throughout his 20-year healthcare career, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing efficient and high-quality care to his patients. He firmly believes in patient education and takes pride in offering top-notch care that is tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Highly experienced in diagnosing and treating a diverse range of conditions and injuries, he specializes in minimally invasive surgery, endoscopies, bariatrics, advanced laparoscopy, breast surgery, thyroid, hernia, and gastrointestinal surgery.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Graham obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine Studies at Kansas State University in 1994, and received his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1998. He then went on to complete his residency in general surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in 2003.

His background includes four years of service as an Air Force General Surgeon, during which he was awarded the Bronze Star for his surgical services in Iraq. He spent 11 years in a large healthcare organization as an employed physician, where he served on the medical executive and credentials committee. He also was the Director of Bariatric Surgery and Wound Care, built a nationally accredited bariatric program, and started a wound care program with hyperbaric therapy.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents including the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, gallbladder, appendix, as well as the thyroid, parathyroids, and adrenals. A general surgeon performs a wide range of abdominal surgeries for many forms of intestinal and abdominal wall hernias, groin hernias, gallbladder disease, and thyroid related cancers.
