Dr. Golembeski’s journey in pathology began after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati in 1996, followed by a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1999. He completed his internal medicine training at the University of Michigan in 2002, followed by anatomic pathology in 2005. He then completed his surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Michigan in 2006, and further specialized in GI and liver pathology in 2007.
With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Dr. Golembeski has held key positions that reflect his commitment to advancing the field of pathology. Before joining Baptist Memorial Hospital, he served as the Associate Director of Women’s Health Laboratories at Poplar Healthcare from June 2012 to April 2022, where he played a pivotal role in improving diagnostic services for women’s health.
Dr. Golembeski also worked as a Pathologist at Caris Life Sciences in Dallas, Texas, from March 2011 to March 2012. Earlier in his career, he served as the Director of Hepatopathology at Clin-Path Associates, PLC in Phoenix, Arizona, from July 2007 to February 2011.
