Throughout her academic career, Dr. Porro graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1993. She then went on to complete her General Practice Residency at the East Orange Veterans’ Administration Hospital. Wanting to further her training, she continued her postgraduate education at State University of New York at Buffalo, specializing in prosthodontics (1994-97). She concluded her residency in maxillo-facial prosthetics at New York University College of Dentistry & Manhattan VA Hospital.

Coming from a long family history of dental professionals, Dr. Porro distinguishes her dentistry as a unique blend of science and art, emphasizing quality of care. She completes continuing education credits every year to satisfy and update all current new dental materials, procedures, and technology in the field. She is a member of the American Dental Association.
