He is affiliated with a number of hospitals and medical centers throughout the state of Florida, including Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center, Cape Canaveral Hospital, The Villages Regional Hospital, Holmes Regional Medical Center, Viera Hospital, and Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Upon graduating with his medical degree from the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Medicine in Syria in 1989, Dr. Bakdash relocated to the United States. Once there, he performed his internship at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1994. This was followed by a residency in neurology and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular medicine at the University of Minnesota.
In practice for over thirty years, the doctor is board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Bakdash is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the Florida Medical Association.
