Annually, the Burkhardt Brain Tumor Center physicians record approximately 8,000 patient visits and perform more than 1,500 surgeries and radiosurgeries.

He is an international thought leader in the field of laser ablation for brain tumors and had several publications and served as invited speaker for numerous national and international scientific meetings.
