    I have gone to Dr. Robert E. Windsor since 1987,I have had world class successful diagnoses, therapies, and innovative treatments. The care, I received, as a critically injured law enforcement officer, has led me to, live the best longevity, and quality of life,I could hope to ever receive. I was always triaged,and seen, promptly, and made comfortable. Dr. Windsor, and staff,explains and work tirelessly, to effect, patients ',well being, and urge you forward. Today, at age 74,I still practice, all of the tenets, of good skeletal, and muscular health, I learned from them, I am still standing, very well. I still refer others, suffering to him. He inspires, and imbues hope, for your moving future.

Get to know Pain Management Specialist and Regenerative Medicine Specialist, Dr. Robert E. Windsor, who serves patients in Georgia. 

With over three decades in practice as a pain management and regenerative medicine specialist, Dr. Windsor has helped countless patients recover from pain and improve their quality of life. Currently, he is serving patients at his private practice, Georgia RegenRX, in Forest Park, Georgia.

As for his professional background, he founded his first practice exclusively dedicated to pain management in 1990. Later on, he founded Georgia Pain Physicians, PC in 1997, Kentucky Pain Physicians, PSC in 2005, as well as National Pain Care, Inc., a management company dedicated to the acquisition, management, and quality improvement of pain management companies. In 2011, he acquired the Physicians Services Center and Ohio Pain Solutions. 

His distinguished career in medicine began in 1989 when he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Over the next decade, Dr. Windsor became board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Pain Management. 

He studied at Texas A&M for his undergraduate studies on an athletic scholarship in Pre-Med at 17 years old. Over the next four years, he would rank as high as third in the NCAA Shot Put. He completed his undergraduate requirements in two years and entered Texas A&M College of Medicine at the age of 19. Upon graduation, he went on to complete his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. 

After his track career was completed, he began competitively powerlifting. Among other noteworthy accomplishments in that sport, he set a national record and unofficial world record in the bench press at 578 pounds for his weight class in 1988. Four years later, in 1992, he began a decade long career in martial arts, competing at a national level and obtaining a black belt. 

Being a lifelong athlete, Dr. Windsor understands the unique challenges athletes face, which helps him better connect with his patients. Throughout his career, he has studied, taught, and worked extensively in the fields of interventional pain medicine, interventional orthopedics, regenerative medicine, integrative medicine, and pain management for arthritis, chronic spinal pain, and sports medicine, to name a few.

Pain medicine is a branch of medicine employing an interdisciplinary approach for easing the suffering and improving the quality of life of those living with chronic pain. A pain management specialist is a doctor who specializes in pain medicine, focusing on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of pain. 

Regenerative medicine is the field of medicine devoted to restoring function to damaged tissue and organs within the body. Regenerative medicine therapies use the body’s own innate ability to heal itself and renew itself. A regenerative medicine specialist is an expert in the field of stem cell and platelet-rich plasma treatment.

Considered a national “thought leader” in pain management, Dr. Windsor has given over 200 national presentations, published over 50 book chapters, and 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as co-authored a textbook on spinal anatomy. He has also trained over 100 physicians in the art and science of interventional pain procedures through the interventional pain management fellowship, which he founded in 1991.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Windsor likes to stay active by lifting weights and skiing. He also enjoys other adventurous outdoor activities like scuba diving, boating, and skydiving.
