Dr. Bogard began her medical career qualifying as a registered nurse. She then underwent training as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. To expand her medical skillset, she went to medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating with her medical degree, Dr. Bogard completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by an anesthesiology residency at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), in Southern California.
Dr. Bogard enjoyed being an anesthesiologist, but she had a heavy workload and found the hours were demanding. Her health began to suffer, as a result, so she sought out an anti-aging physician to help regain her health and vitality.
After experiencing first-hand the benefits of anti-aging treatments, Dr. Bogard undertook her age management medicine training with Cenegenics®. She then completed a fellowship and advanced fellowship in anti-aging and regenerative medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging. Dr. Bogard is also a certified biofeedback specialist.
At Well Aging Med, Dr. Bogard approaches each patient as an individual. She looks at factors such as gut health, hormone balance, inflammation, stress, toxins, nutrient deficiencies, and immune disruption to find the causes of a patient’s symptoms, then uses advanced and innovative treatments to address the causes.
Among other services, Well Aging Med provides weight management support, IV therapy, nutrition counseling, peptide therapy, bioidentical hormone replacement, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and specialty testing.
