Get to know Dentist Dr. Ifeatu C. Nnebe, who serves patients in Folsom, California.

Excelling in dentistry, Dr. Nnebe is the owner & operator of BSC Dental Smiles in Folsom, California. She and her staff place the utmost importance on quality and comprehensive dental treatment and care. They use the latest state-of-the-art technology in their modern facility to provide each patient with the care that they deserve, aspiring to their motto of “Inspiring confidence from within..”

“The dental profession not only allows me to meet new people all the time, it also gives me the opportunity to help people many times;  I even truly get to say that I look upon a great number of my patients with pride that I have been able to renew their confidence and create beautiful smiles” expressed Dr. Nnebe.

Academically, she graduated with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Ibadan, College of Medicine in 2005. Years later, in 2014, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.

Having been practicing community dentistry for more than six years, Dr. Nnebe has a strong interest in public health due to the urgent needs in the communities. This is what motivated her to pursue dentistry, as she strongly believes that oral health is a precursor to overall health. 

Continuing education courses are the most effective way she has of remaining at the cutting edge of dentistry, and being able to provide her patients with the latest and best treatment techniques available. It allows her to be energized and excited about the future of her dental profession.

Among her professional dental affiliations, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Nnebe enjoys dancing, cooking, traveling, and running.
