  • What is the recovery period after a facelift?

It depends to some degree on the extensiveness of the procedure and the individual need. My techniques are customized to the individual sometimes integrating fat transfer or laser resurfacing. With that being said, the general recovery until one can go out in public and no one will know that you had surgery ranges from two to three weeks. If someone can work remotely from home, they can return to work in one week. READ MORE

  • What are the different types of facelift procedures?

There are many different types of facelifts described. I generally customize the operation for what the patient may benefit from. Often that involves repositioning the SMAS foundation layer of the face, tightening or repositioning some of the muscles of the neck and redraping the skin. I often integrate fat transfer and laser treatments to polish off the results and maximize a natural and long lasting result. • How to fix eye bags?

If they are mild, one can camouflage the puffiness by adding filler below that to soften the contour issue. This is best when it is mild and lessons but does not eliminate the issue. For a permanent correction, redraping the fat to smooth it out in conjunction with tightening the lower lid through a trans-conjunctival lower lid blepharoplasty and canthal tightening works well. If there are also fine lines, laser resurfacing can also help to perfect the result. READ MORE

  • Is eyelid surgery painful?

Typically, eyelid surgery is not painful, whether it is upper lid, lower lid, or all four lids. The recovery might be mildly uncomfortable, but is rarely painful. Most people can return to social settings within 7 to 10 days after surgery. • How long will the swelling last after eyelid plastic surgery?

Eyelids often swell significantly after blepharoplasty surgery. At the same time, the swelling typically resolves quickly. Most swelling is gone in most patients by approximately one week after surgery. Elevation, cool compresses, and rest help reduce swelling on time. READ MORE
