Dr. Lopez earned his Medical Degree from the prestigious Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador School of Medicine in 2003. He further honed his skills during a cardiology residency at the Dante Pazzanese Cardiology Institute in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Following this, he completed an internal medicine residency at East Tennessee State University, where he served as chief resident. His pursuit of excellence continued with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the same institution, where he was honored to serve as chief fellow. Dr. Lopez’s illustrious training has earned him numerous accolades and recognition for his outstanding research and clinical performance.

As an active contributor to the medical community, Dr. Lopez has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has been a sought-after speaker at numerous medical conferences. He holds multiple certifications, including Diplomate status with the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease, the National Board of Echocardiography, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Additionally, Dr. Lopez is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Pan-American Medical Association of Central Florida, further showcasing his commitment to advancing cardiovascular health in the region.
