Get to know Prosthodontist Dr. Ryan C. Farnum, who serves patients in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Farnum is a prosthodontist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at his private dental practice, Arizona Prosthodontics in Tucson, Arizona. “At Arizona Prosthodontists, we are committed to helping you achieve your very best smile. Our success is measured by your satisfaction, and we guarantee satisfaction on all of our work” as stated by Dr. Farnum. 

Dr. Farnum earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 1998. As part of his studies, he was involved in several philanthropic organizations and graduated with honors. He then completed an additional three years of schooling, earning a master’s degree in prosthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. 

Dr. Farnum’s prosthodontic training had a strong clinical focus, along with education in advanced treatment planning and restorative and aesthetic dentistry, in conjunction with the latest scientific and technological developments. He then returned to Tucson to begin his career in prosthodontics. Additionally, Dr. Farnum is very involved within the community, conducting study groups for dental colleagues and making presentations to various groups about dental health.

Dr. Farnum is a member of the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Arizona Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Academy of Gnathology. 

Prosthodontics, also known as dental prosthetics or prosthetic dentistry, is the area of dentistry that focuses on dental prostheses. Prosthodontists specialize in treating and handling dental and facial problems that involve restoring missing tooth and jaw structures. They are highly trained in cosmetics, dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, temporomandibular disorders, and more.

Dr. Farnum is a Tucson native. When he is not making his patients smile, he is enjoying the smiles of his wife, Dawn, and his four daughters – Kaylin, Mandy, Aurora, and Violet. He also enjoys camping, hunting, and cars.
