Raised in Teaneck, New Jersey, Dr. Gruenbaum obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Barnard College, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
During dental school, she participated in a global outreach program to Jamaica, where she first realized her passion for pediatric dentistry. She then went on to complete a general practice residency at the Montefiore Medical Center. She continued her post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry at the Maimonides Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her second year.
Recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Gruenbaum is an active member of the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
