Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Julie-Lee Morales, who serves patients in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

An established emergency physician, Dr. Morales is affiliated with Aria-Jefferson Health, working with patients at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.

Jefferson Torresdale Hospital offers a wide range of emergency, primary and specialty care in a warm, friendly, service-oriented environment. It is an officially designated Level II Trauma Center and is celebrating 30 years of advanced trauma care in Northeast Philadelphia and Bucks County.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Morales earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residencies in emergency medicine and family medicine at Aria Health.

As a testament to her success, the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). The AOBEM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of acutely ill patients with advanced cardiac life support, trauma, and the management of other life-threatening medical issues (emergency physicians).

Moreover, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
