Get to know General & Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Lynn Booth, who serves patients in Midlothian, Virginia.

Recognized as a top general & cosmetic dentist, Dr. Booth is currently attending to patients’ dental needs at Penterson & Booth Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Midlothian, Virginia. She and her husband, Dr. Steve Booth, work at this family-owned dental practice that was started by her father, Dr. Robert Penterson. They treat patients of all ages with all types of dental needs, making sure that the entire family gets the highest quality of care in the warmest and friendliest atmosphere.

Raised in the Midlothian area and a graduate of Clover Hill High School, Dr. Booth attended Virginia Tech, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the Science of Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in May of 2007. While in school, she volunteered her time as a student teacher in operative dentistry and spent time continuing her training in Invisalign orthodontics.

When asked about her future in dentistry, she replied,”I am enjoying working in a family practice with both my father and husband. We have the opportunity to pursue our individual interests within the dental field, which adds to the service we provide our patients. I enjoy working with children and believe we provide a fun, caring, and comfortable dental experience for them. I am also a Preferred Provider for Invisalign and enjoy using this tool along with other cosmetic procedures to satisfy patients’ desires and improve their smiles. A smile goes a long way and it is extremely rewarding to me if I can be a part of making someone more confident about their smile.”

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general & cosmetic dentist, Dr. Booth has the skills needed to complete an array of procedures that are both simple or complex in nature.

Happily married, she enjoys traveling, cooking, playing tennis, skiing, running, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time. She is a mom to three wonderful girls – Caroline, Madelynn, and Kamryn. They keep her very busy when she is not at work.
