Back in 2007, Dr. Krishna received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine, and completed his residency in internal medicine at UCLA in 2010. He then went on to complete his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2013, before returning to UCLA to complete an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology in 2014.

An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system.
