A highly trained urologist, Dr. Kashanian is the Director of Male Sexual Health and Assistant Professor of Urology and Reproductive Medicine within the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine, and an attending physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell Campus. He specializes in seeing adolescent and adult males with infertility, low testosterone, and sexual dysfunction.
Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residencies in general surgery and urology at Maimonides Medical Center. After completing his fellowship in male reproductive medicine and surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Feinberg School of Medicine, he joined the Center for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery, as well as Sexual Health & Medicine in the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in urology through the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, and working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.
