The doctor has extensive physician leadership experience, most recently as Associate Director of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California; Associate Director and Comprehensive Transplant Director at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; Chair of the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery – Department of Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona; and Surgical Director of the Heart Transplant Program in the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery – Department of Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Francisco A. Arabia, MD, MBA, attended the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and received his medical degree in 1983.
