Get to know Urologist Dr. Victor Hartanto, who serves patients in Midland Park, New Jersey.

Being a skilled urologist, Dr. Hartanto is a part of the team of professionals at Urology Group, PA in Midland Park, New Jersey. 

He and his colleagues offer every patient outstanding urological service combined with sympathy and respect. They provide the highest quality urological care for both men and women, offer a variety of treatment options, as well as work closely with the patient in order to determine the best course of care for the individual. 

In addition to practicing general urology, Dr. Hartanto has a special interest in the management of kidney stones, the management of all types of female urinary incontinence, the management of vaginal prolapse using a minimally invasive robotic approach, the urologic evaluation and treatment of urinary problems related to neurologic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, spinal cord injury, and diabetes mellitus, and state-of-the-art urodynamic testing for bladder dysfunction evaluation.

A 1996 graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Hartanto went on to serve his residency in urology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Wanting to further his training, he completed his fellowship in female urology and voiding dysfunction at New York University in New York City. 

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology, whose mission is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, and working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care. He also holds an additional board certification in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

Voted a Top Urologist in 2012 and a Top Surgeon in 2015, Dr. Hartanto is currently the Associate Director of the Department of Urology at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Among his numerous accolades, he is the recipient of Compassionate Doctor Award – 5 Year Honoree (2020), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2014, 2015, 2018), Patients’ Choice 5th Anniversary Award (2020), and Patients’ Choice Award (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018).
