Hi, It depends on the location of the area that is itchy. If it’s the back of the jaw, then it could possibly indicate that your wisdom teeth are coming through the gum. If it’s an anterior area, it could indicate a periodontal condition that needs to be evaluated by a dental professional. READ MORE
Can you get a filling without numbing?
Hi, My answer will depend on how deep the cavity is: if it is a small one, a dentist should be able to get the cavity done without any injections. Hi! When a baby goes through transitional dentitions, meaning exfoliating baby teeth and growing adult teeth, it is absolutely normal to grind. You should not do anything to interfere with that process. If your son is grinding on all adult teeth and he is older (15 y.o), then you can get a night appliance either from a pharmacy or custom made in a dentist’s office. READ MORE

How many times should I floss?
As my screensaver used to say: “You only have to floss the teeth you want to keep.” The flossing has to be directed against the teeth, not the gum. Flossing twice a day would be sufficient, but if you would like to floss after every meal, that would not harm your teeth. Using orthodontic floss would be safer and more beneficial because of softer properties. Flossing 10 times a day definitely not recommended, but as I said prior, after every meal is appropriate.
