Dr. Romeo, a board-certified family physician and hyperbaric physician, sees patients at Kindred Hospital in Melbourne, Florida and for home visits.

Growing up in Titusville, Florida, Dr. Romeo attended Titusville High School. Afterwards, she attended the University of Central Florida, earning her Bachelor’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences & Biology and Liberal Arts.

From there, she attended Saba University School of Medicine, earning her Master of Science in Hyperbaric Medicine in 1999 and her medical degree in 2002. She then performed her residency in family medicine at Memorial Health University Hospital in Savannah, Georgia after which she moved back home to Florida.

In 2005, Dr. Romeo began work at the Wuesthoff Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center, and was promoted to medical director in 2006. She remained so until 2016, after which she joined Health First Wound Center, and served as medical director until 2021, after which the program was elected to be discontinued.

Specializing in comprehensive wellness health care for adults, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Moreover, she is board-certified in undersea & hyperbaric medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM). The ABPM is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties that issues “certificates of special knowledge” in the specialty of preventive medicine.

A firm believer in continual self-improvement and lifelong learning, Dr. Romeo was awarded an Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society Certification, as a Medical Examiner of Divers (MED). She is also an active member of the Brevard County Medical Society.
