With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. Anthony Human, DO is a board-certified Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine Specialist serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Barbour Orthopedics and Sports Medicine located in Georgia. In regards to his education, Dr. Human obtained his medical degree in 2002 from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then attended Summa Western Reserve Hospital and completed his internship in 2003 followed by his family medicine residency in 2005. Wanting to further his knowledge in the field, Dr. Human attended Cleveland Clinic Foundation and completed his sports medicine fellowship in 2006. In order to provide his patients with the best care, Dr. Human currently holds expertise in pain medicine and non-surgical sports medicine. In addition, he has experience in joint steroid injections, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, sacral rhizotomy, and facet joint injection. Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Human is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, the North American Spine Society, and the American College of Sports Medicine in order to stay up to date in his field.
