Get to know General Dentist Dr. Anand Parekh, who serves patients in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Parekh is a general dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Inner Harbor Dental Associates in Baltimore, Maryland. The dentists, hygienists, and technicians at Inner Harbor Dental Associates have the education and experience to meet patients’ oral health needs. They are dedicated to maintaining the highest quality of dental care through on-going training and continuing education in the latest techniques and equipment. “My mission is to give my patients an overall enjoyable experience. I never want them to leave feeling uncomfortable or unhappy about the care they received at our office” as stated by Dr. Parekh. 

Dr. Parekh earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of California, Irvine in 2009. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated ‘cum laude’ from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded an honors delegation for the treatment of medically complex patients. Dr. Parekh then went on to complete his general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. 

Dr. Parekh is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Baltimore City Dental Society, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Parekh is certified in Invisalign – a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces. In addition to English, Dr. Parekh speaks Hindi, Gujarati, and Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and other sports, as well as traveling.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general dentist, Dr. Parekh diagnoses and treats dental issues and helps patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. He constantly strives to further his knowledge via continuing education courses to be able to provide world-class care for all of his patients.
