Practicing within CareMount Medical – Optum (ProHEALTH Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine), she offers her services at the offices in Holbrook, Port Jefferson, Shirley, and Wading River, New York.
Prior to her current role, which she has held for over six years, she worked at Advantage Care Physicians for nearly a decade.
Graduating with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. Dr. McInernery-Lopez went on to further her training. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Long Island Children’s Hospital in 2005, where she was named Resident of the Year.
Successful in her field, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (AOBP). The AOBP is one of the eighteen approved specialty boards of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
Since 2005, Dr. McInerney-Lopez has been serving as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
