Dr. Guirguis is a general & cosmetic dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at his private dental practice in Solon, Ohio. There, he remains dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care for patients and their families. Dr. Guirguis is also a Clinical Professor in the Advanced General Dentistry Department of the Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Guirguis has been practicing dentistry since 1993. Since then, his love for his profession has grown. He continues to offer the highest quality of care through his commitment to continuing education, and the latest in dental technology.
Dr. Guirguis did his undergraduate studies at the Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1989. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in 1993. Upon graduation, Dr. Guirguis chose to pursue a residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center, with emphasis on oral surgery, implantology, reconstructive dentistry, and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Guirguis is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Cleveland Dental Society, and the Hillcrest Study Club. In addition, Dr. Guirguis is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.
Dr. Guirguis travels annually to do mission work in the small village of Higuay, Dominican Republic, delivering dental care for underprivileged and previously underserved patients. It has been an experience that has changed his life, as well as the lives of the villagers that live there and its surrounding community.
Dr. Guirguis is a native of Cleveland and wanted to live and work within his community. He and his wife, Maureen, have six children. Dr. Guirguis is a dedicated family man and an active member of St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church. He has high moral and ethical values which are the core of his personal and professional life.
