Dr. Kaenel earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 1997. She graduated in the top 5 of her class, earning a place in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society founded for the purpose of encouraging scholarship and advancing the ethical standards of the dental profession.
Dr. Kaenel has a passion for dentistry and she is always striving to improve her skills by devoting time to continuing education. She is a member of the American Dental Society, the California Dental Society and the San Diego Dental Society.
